I have always wanted to work in nature or ecology. During my biology degree, I wrote an extensive thesis on extensive dry grassland habitats and became fascinated by the tiny creatures (or not so tiny when it’s a Carabus species). After that, so much of my time (studying, working, volunteering, drawing and hiking) was spent on insect-inspired, themed or focused activities.

Having found the negative reputation of insects fascinating, I am now trying to raise awareness of how beautiful and fascinating insects are and shift the stories we tell about them.
